Hillsborough, North Carolina is a small town with a big history, and with architecture spanning three centuries, numerous beautiful parks and trails, Hillsborough provides an incredible location for a road race. Hillsborough continues to host numerous successful races, including the Little River Trail runs, Got GRIT? 5K race, and the Camp Chestnut Ridge Trail races.
The 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 events were a great success. We received some fabulous feedback from our participants, and look forward to making some tweaks to the event and welcoming everyone back in 2023.
This event is hosted by Hillsborough Running Club, which was founded in 2013, and operate weekly club runs from Weaver Street Market. Both the half marathon and 5K routes have been designed to showcase many of Hillsborough’s historic sites, and scenic routes.
